The new year is here and it’s time to start thinking about your social media content for now and indeed, the year ahead.
Whether you’re a small business owner, self-employed, or even working in the areas of marketing or social media, you’ll find inspiration in our ideas for this month so that your 2024 is off to a great start!
Resolutions & Goals
The beginning of the year is always a great opportunity to talk about resolutions and goals and depending on your business you can highlight how it relates to your products or services. Ask your community what their resolutions are and encourage them to share their own stories. You can also give helpful advice on how to stay motivated throughout the year or offer tips on setting realistic goals.
New Year’s Reflections & Celebrations
Another great idea is to create content that reflects on the year gone by and looks forward to celebrating a new one. Ask questions like “What were some of your biggest accomplishments in 2023?” or “What would you like to achieve in your business by the end of 2024?” Questions like this can encourage engagement, even where people don’t want to share their feedback publicly you might be surprised by private messages you get on social media so they can be great for starting a conversation.
Your Plans For The Year Ahead
If you have a product launch coming up or an exciting special offer, this is the perfect time to promote it on social media. Highlight the features of your product or service, as well as any deals or discounts you might be offering. Even better if you’ve got the right visuals such as videos, photos, infographics, etc., which will help grab people’s attention while they’re in the form for planning – yours might be just the product or service they need.
