Canva Training is something I’ve done quite a lot of in recent years and for those of you who follow me either here on my blog or through any of my social media, you’ll know by now that it’s an app I highly recommend for every business.
If you’re new to it, you haven’t quite figured it out, or, it’s something you’ve heard about but aren’t quite sure whether it’s right for your business, here are just some of the reasons I know you should consider it for your organisation;
Efficient Design Creation
Canva helps businesses create professional-looking designs quickly and efficiently. With Canva, businesses can create logos, social media graphics, presentations, posters, and more without needing to be design experts, or for you as a business to incorporate the requirement for a graphic designer into your costs.
By using Canva’s pre-made templates, businesses can produce high-quality designs in minutes. And, with over 610,00+ templates on Canva Pro and 250,000+ templates on Canva Free (as of March 2023), you’ll never be short of inspiration.
A Powerful Stock Content Library
Every business at times will find themselves in need of photos, videos, or audio for a presentation or marketing materials. If you’re fortunate yours might be suited to taking lots of photos or you might have a bank of images already. However, for many businesses, in particular, those offering professional services, securing images to highlight this can be a challenge, particularly where you can’t even talk about clients, or it’s not a particularly appealing topic to discuss in the first place.
Within Canva there are 100 million + premium photos, videos, and audio files on Canva Pro with 1 million + available to those on Canva Free – this will save you a lot of time and expense with stock photo sites.
Consistency in Branding
Consistent branding is crucial for building brand recognition and trust across your marketing channels both online and offline. Canva ensures that businesses can create designs that maintain their brand’s consistency. With Canva, businesses can save their brand assets, such as logos, colors, and fonts, and use them consistently across all their designs.
Features such as Brand Kit or Brand Controls (on Canva for Teams) will allow you to encourage your team to create whilst at the same time ensuring that they’re on brand, or for those on Teams, that you get to approve before anything official leaves the company.
Cost-effective Solution
Canva is a cost-effective solution for businesses that need to create professional-looking designs without the need to hire a designer or purchase expensive design software that in today’s world can be overly complex for everyday tasks such as creating social media graphics.
Canva users can avail of a free plan, a pro plan for one person at €109.99 per year, or a team plan for €139.90 for the first 5 members of your team. Regardless of the size of your business, this is a considerable saving on paying somebody to create designs for you.
Collaboration
Canva training allows businesses to collaborate on designs with team members or clients. With Canva’s collaboration features, multiple team members can work on a design simultaneously, share feedback, approve designs, work with folders for projects, or avail of features such as Whiteboards, making the design process faster and more efficient.
Versatility
Canva is a versatile tool that businesses can use for a variety of purposes. From creating social media graphics to designing business cards and even websites, Canva provides businesses with a tool that can be used in multiple ways both by desktop/laptop or on their mobile device. With Canva’s ever-expanding library of templates, businesses can create designs for any occasion or need within minutes.
It’s Innovative
Whilst many think of it as an app for creating their social media graphics, did you know that within Canva you can create your own website? Create and record content for an online course? Or, that there are AI-tools for creating text and images? And that the output is great quality too, and is included in your subscription!
Enhanced Productivity
Whatever size business you’re in, time is always at a premium. Canva offers a host of features that will allow you to become more productive such as the ability to schedule your content directly to your social media platforms, save content to your Google Drive or Dropbox folders, re-size content in a click to ensure it’s optimised for each social platform (Pro Plan), generate QR codes, create mock-ups of your products, embed videos from elsewhere – and a whole lot more too!
It’s A World-Class Solution
Canva recently celebrated its 15 billionth design, it boasts in excess of 100 million monthly active users in over 190 countries with everything from solopreneurs to household brand names using the app because it’s designed for every business.
It’s also been voted one of the most innovate companies in 2023, more in this article which shares that 85% of Fortune 500 companies use the app and specifically mentions brands L’Oreal and Salesforce as being among their users.
I’ve been a user for most of its existence, in fact, I’m permitted to call myself a ‘Canva Champion’ and was invited into a group by Canva back in 2021 to empower us to use it in the course of our business by teaching people that design doesn’t have to be complicated.
I train groups and individuals, whether you’re getting set to create your first design or you’re ready to explore some of the more advanced features, you’ll discover that I’m the go-to person for all things Canva.
