DCEB (Dublin City Enterprise Board) Women’s Network
In celebration of International Women’s Day which fell on Friday 8th March, I was fortunate enough to attend a super networking event supported by the Enterprise Boards in Dublin; Dublin City (DCEB Women’s Network), Fingal and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown.
With an expected 200 attendees the successes of women in business were celebrated with speakers from brands including Fuschia, Clevermamma, Rothar, Vodafone taking the time to share some insights into how they took an idea or a vision and created a successful business for themselves.

The Business Achievers 2013 Live, the road show supported by Small Business Can and Ulster Bank rolled into town last week – or more specifically to the Jameson Brewery in Dublin’s Smithfield and it was an evening most definitely well spent. The roadshow was designed as an opportunity for small businesses to enjoy some networking, take advice from some experts that would assist them in their endeavours and also to highlight the Ulster Bank sponsored Business Achievers Awards.
The speaker panel included Sam Hobbs of BusinessAndLeadershop.com and Ian Cleary of RazorSocial.com amongst others and topics covered on the night included; Sales versus Marketing, Social Media, Content Marketing, Communications, Networking and more. There was also a good deal of audience participation.
