SME squareWe’ve blogged previously on the SME Community, the virtual community of SME’s from Ireland and further afield who started out in June with a couple of tweets between FocusSME and Tus Nua Designs and  which has subsequently exploded into a wonderfully supportive community of SMEs from all walks of life.

At this point there have been tweet-ups across the country in places including Mayo, Dublin, Donegal, Limerick, Waterford, Kildare and Kerry.  Now as in excess of 750 people are now following or engaging in activity amongst the SME Community, demand has grown for a further round of tweet-ups.

So, here’s an update on the latest events coming up…

Friday 21st October, Breaffy House Hotel, Castlebar – 11am

Thursday 17th November, Dublin – exact details will be finalised shortly

Friday 27th January, County Arms Hotel, Birr County Offaly – ALL IRELAND TWEET-UP

All of our tweet-ups are informal events and all are welcome, not just those who engage on a daily basis with our twitter community using the #SMEcommunity tag in their tweets.  Some of our attendees have tweeted live throughout the event, some have opted to have guest speakers while others yet again have simply chosen coffee and a chat.  There is no onus on you as a business to do anything other than to turn up, meet fellow SMEs and enjoy a little networking.

The range of businesses actively engaging with SME Community continues to grow and you can be assured that even if amongst our merry band of businesses we don’t have the exact answer to your dilemma, you’ll find that somebody will know a man who can!
